While spending much of her time as a human
rights advocate, Patti Harter earned her living as a discounter for the Society
of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace. As a sponsor, promoter, and
spokeswoman of long-term health care she has worked with the Sisters of
Providence and the Association for Retarded Citizens, and has also volunteered
her services with the National Indian Child Welfare Association. Upon
retirement, she moved to Eastern Washington and initiated
a dog rescue program. This is her first book.
